This bereavement session is both informative and interactive using video, group discussion and reflection. You will explore your own feelings about loss and bereavement and learn about the ways in which bereavement affects people. You will also look at your own coping strategies for dealing with people who have been bereaved and learn how you can help the people you come into contact with.

What will I learn?

  • What bereavement is
  • What grief is
  • The ‘cycle of grief’ (using Kubler Ross model of grief)
  • The difference between ‘normal’ and ‘abnormal’ grief
  • What advice and support we can provide to people who are bereaved

To book, please email jennifer.bradley@stcatherines.co.uk
