Healthcare Assistant - Upper Eden Medical Practice

Salary: From £19,846 FTE per annum 

Working hours: 22hrs per week (Mon, Tue, Thu) 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Healthcare Assistant to join the Nursing Team at our friendly rural GP Practice in Kirkby Stephen. 

The ideal candidate should be a qualified and experienced Healthcare Assistant, ideally with previous experience of working in a GP Practice. 

You must be well organised, have a strong sense of empathy and a commitment to reducing health inequalities and providing excellent patient care. Exceptional communication skills, the ability to maintain effective working relationships and a commitment to further training and development are also essential. The role involves general HCA duties including bloods, ECG’s, health checks, BP’s, INR’s etc. Further training will also be provided as required. 

The working hours for this role are Monday and Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm and Tuesday, 8.30am to 12.30pm.
