Practice Nurse - Moss Side Medical Centre, Leyland

We are currently recruiting for a Practice Nurse (current registration is essential) to work with our existing Senior GP and multidisciplinary team. We are a small friendly team with a practice list of around 5000 patients. We are looking to expand our nursing team and are seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse who has experience in General Practice Nursing. You will be responsible for assessing, planning and managing patients with various conditions including Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Cytology, Child and Adult Immunisations and Travel Health. Any specialist and professional knowledge gained through diploma level training would be an advantage e.g. Asthma, Diabetes, Coronary Heart Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an effective communicator when dealing with patients and carers. Hours required: 16 - 20 Wage negotiable on experience.
