Practice Nurse Vacancy - Excel Primary Care

Excel Primary Care is one of the largest GP Practices in West Lancashire and we are looking to recruit full time Practice Nurse.

We are looking to recruit a motivated, committed and enthusiastic, Practice Nurse to join us.

We are looking for a highly motivated Practice Nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to the whole practice population, working closely with the practice manager and GPs to deliver the practice priorities.

Clinically, the focus of the role is management of patients with long-term conditions and general nursing interventions for all patients.

If you are self-motivated, reliable, happy to work in a busy GP surgery and want to support your colleagues in delivering a great standard of care we would like to meet you.

Applicants must possess a RGN qualification, be flexible and a team player. The hours of the position are full time.

Applicants must have experience of working in a GP practice.

It is essential you have knowledge of: COPD & Asthma Management, Diabetes Management, Hypertension, Family planning/contraception Cervical cytology, Childhood Immunisations and Vaccines.

Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience
