All practices are in the same boat, but not all practices are the same. Situated on the edge of the Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Lake District National Park, Western Dales of North Yorkshire National Park, with 30 min access by road to M6 and A1(M), Appleby sits on the A66 and the Carlisle to Settle / Leeds railway which links to main West Coast rail to Scotland and London. 6-8 sessions, 8am - 6.30pm days. 15 min appointments. 5050 patients, 15 care / nursing beds. Emis Web. 

We will wait for the right person and certificate of GP training but immediate start available. Flexible working options available upon discussion. Very supportive of professional development / portfolio career. Close, supportive team of GP’s, Prescribing Pharmacist, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCA’s, Admin with excellent local knowledge and Data Manager processing documents. GPSI Palliative Care, GPSI Sexual Health. Daily team clinical discussion for coffee, catch up and peer support. CCG led protected learning time monthly. Local Health pathways online. A member of the trail blazing Eden PCN with integrated Care of the Aging Team, Care Co-ordinators, Clinical Pharmacists and Technicians, First Contact Physio, PA, Social Prescribers for young people as well as adults, First Contact Mental Health Practitioner. 

Purpose built 2005 premises, shared with community services enhancing continuity of patient care, with spectacular riverside location. Staff wellbeing – lunchtime walks, sociable outside work activities, free tea and coffee, regular home baking, fresh fruit and a tuck shop! Affordable housing; traditional and new build.
