Salaried GP - Lockwood Surgery

We have exciting opportunities for either salaried GPs or salaried with a view to partnership. Our friendly practice is in Poulton-Le-Fylde a market town situated on the coastal plain called Fylde, with the Lake District and Manchester being only an hour away (www.dontwaitfortheweekend.nhs.uk). 

Good local private and public schools in the area. Our Surgery is within the beautiful Civic Centre set in its own grounds. Newly refurbished and state of the art consulting rooms. Our CQC was reported as being overall good, with outstanding in Responsive, Older People, people experiencing poor mental health including dementia). We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated individual who also values their work/life balance ethos. We are looking for a General Practitioner (sessions negotiable). Excellent salary with the potential for a future partnership includes NHS Pensions, Medical Defence paid, CPD, 6 weeks annual leave, some on call commitment with no out of hours or weekend working. 

The practice is supported by 2 GP Partners, 2 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Pharmacist with a dedicated team including Nurse Led Chronic Disease Management, 3 Specialist Nurses, 2 HCAs and a very experienced, long serving and supportive administration and reception team.

• EMIS Web clinical system 

• Duty doctor daily, book on day appointments with a Nurse Practitioner, 24 hour access bookable appointments 

• Chronic Disease Management programme 

• High achieving QOF 

• Experienced and proactive Practice Manager 

• Actively involved with a supportive vanguard CCG – Fylde and Wyre 

• Actively involved with local Neighbourhood team/Primary Care network – WIN consisting of 6 local practices
