Distington Surgery are inviting 1-2 enthusiastic GP,s to join our exceptional team in our outstanding CQC rated practice to provide excellent family medical services to our patient population of 5800 patients and empowering them to manage their health conditions. Distington is a single site dispensing practice with a delivery service working from our owned building with onsite parking in a supportive community which we are very much part of. 

Our dedicated reception, admin, dispensary and management team are key to maintaining general practice in these challenging times. Distington is also a training practice --training is very important to us, we have very close links with the medical schools at Newcastle, Uclan and the North Cumbria GP training scheme. We take pride in training the primary care clinicians of tomorrow. Quality of life is also very important to us with 7 weeks holiday per year. 

The team at Distington Surgery can offer: Tier 2 sponsorship, Structured daily workload, Telephone Triage with 20mins, Face to Face appointments if necessary, PCN Paramedic visiting service for majority of home visits, Highly supportive and cohesive clinics, Daily huddles built into session times, Weekly HCTM Frailty team, ARRS support roles, Strong training ethos, Supportive of portfolio careers

Salary dependent on experience (indemnity and pension paid in addition )
