Salaried GP/Partner - Duke street surgery

Due to upcoming retirements we’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated salaried GP with a view to Partnership to join our friendly team at Duke Street Surgery in Barrow in Furness Cumbria. 

We are looking for 6- 8 sessions but would be flexible for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large forward thinking, friendly and patient centred practice based in Barrow in Furness town centre. With a list size of 9700 patients and a well-established team made up of 6 GP’s, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses, 4 Health Care Assistants and the support of an experienced administration team. 

The practice is actively involved in our local PCN, Multi-Disciplinary meetings and the Morecambe Bay Respiratory Network, High QOF achievement, Good CQC Inspection, Training practice for UCLAN Medical Students and Student Nurses, Weekly clinical practice meetings, Enhanced Services: Minor Surgery, Coils and Implants, Contraception Clinical System: EMIS Web 

Competitive salary plus payment of medical indemnity fees 

The Salaried GP role follows the BMA model contract
