Salaried GP - Station House Surgery

We are located in the market town of Kendal, which is close to the Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales. It's a lovely place to work and live with good transport links and a great community. We are proud of our practice which is not too big to be impersonal but is large enough to be flexible and embrace new initiatives. We are not hierarchical and have a great Team spirit based on helping each other out. The Practice has a friendly, loyal and experienced workforce complimented by newer, developing team members. The Team includes GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Practice & Treatment Room Nurses, Healthcare Assistants as well as an excellent and supportive non-clinical team. We are looking for someone to join us who is proud of their professional achievements and has the ability to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be keen to contribute to this already successful practice as a Salaried GP and possibly a view to Partnership in the longer term. Either way we will support you and encourage your career development We provide training for both GPs and Nurses and other professionals and are also a Research accredited practice. The clinical team meet daily on an informal basis and discuss cases, share knowledge and generally catch up. Feedback has said that we are a supportive and approachable group who aim to take care of our team. We are part of the evolving Kendal Primary Care Network with our neighbouring practices, with whom we share good relationships.
