The Ryan Medical Centre is looking for a salaried GP for a fixed term contract for 12 months, days and number of sessions negotiable. We would be happy to appoint a newly qualified or more experienced GP. Well rewarded, pay dependent on experience. We are a friendly, welcoming, innovative, and well established GP Practice in Bamber Bridge, delivering care to over 10,000 patients. We are situated in an easily accessible location with free onsite parking. There are motorway links nearby for easy commuting, a short drive from the M6, M61, and M65. 

We have recently registered as a VISA sponsored practice. As a salaried GP you will work alongside our clinical team, which comprises of 5 GP partners, 1 salaried GP, and 2 paramedic practitioners.. The wider team includes an ANP employed across our local network of 3 practices and they exclusively look after our nursing home patients and a small group of high service users/complex community patients. We also have a social prescriber, meds management team, first contact physio, and trainee associate psychological practitioner. We are a training practice and have 2 GP trainers, one of whom is a Primary Care Medical Educator for the GP programme. We take GP trainees of various levels. We work closely in a supportive, sociable environment and regularly help each other out if required. 

The medical team meet for coffee and a good chat every morning after surgery. Regular GP day appointment lists are capped and on call is on a pro rota basis shared between all GP staff. We operate a care navigation system with patients triaged effectively into on the day, 72hr, or 1-2 week appointments. We are a low visiting practice and the vast majority of visits are done by the trainees and allied health professionals. Nursing home visits are done by the network ANP. Our admin team process incoming documents to ensure only those requiring input are sent to the GP. 

There is lots of potential to develop your own area of expertise and there with be some cross-network working and opportunity for additional hours to cover Increased Access sessions on weekday evenings and weekend days is desired.
