Join us for a series of short lectures and group discussions given over two half-days to explain the key concepts of statistics. This course is ideal for GP trainees who are preparing for the AKT exam and anyone in the primary care team who would like to increase their knowledge of statistics. 

Delivered by Dr Nat Wright, this course offers all the tools required to improve existing knowledge and understanding, learn new skills, help in interpreting scientific papers and increase confidence in passing the AKT exam.

2. 'What is P?'

3. Common statistical tests

4. Bias and confounding

5. Odds and odds ratios

6. Confidence intervals
