Nurse practitioner - Lockwood Surgery

Lockwood GP Surgery with 8500 patients located in beautiful grounds in the market town of Poulton le Fylde. Lockwood was voted outstanding for patient care in a recent survey. We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with prescribing to join our friendly, supportive and forward thinking practice. The Practice has grown in the last couple of years and we have now taken on a full time GP to work alongside our 2 Partners. 

This new position would work alongside our existing ANPs and Practice Nurses and enhance our team expansion. Our Practice also benefits from an excellent mental health team, highly experienced pharmacist and meds management team and fully trained HCAs. 

We expect our new addition to work at an advanced level using critical thinking, reflection, and analysis to inform assessments, clinical judgement, complex reasoning and decisions. You would be seeing acute same day/urgent patients going through the triage system in the first instance. You will be enthusiastic and highly motivated. Part time Hours and Salary dependent upon experience.
