I have been in post as a Practice Manager for approximately 4 years, throughout that time we have merged practices twice, merging brings along unexpected issues/problems & TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations) The LMC HR team have supported and advised us on how best to deal with issues surrounding TUPE, grievances, sickness absence, capability etc. The LMC are efficient and very effective with a fair consistent approach. I feel that a large amount of my development and learning as a Practice Manager has been helped considerably by the HR team and other Primary Care leads within the LMC and I would recommend the LMC service to any Practice Manager as I have found this to be invaluable.
