Part-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Central Park Surgery. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our experienced and dedicated team. We are a well-established Practice situated in Leyland, Preston with easy access to the motorway. The team has an excellent skill mix whereby the GPs and Nursing team work closely together to provide first-rate patient access.
The ideal candidate will have experience in General Practice and will:
• work collaboratively with the whole practice team to deliver an excellent experience that meets the needs of the patients.
• Provide care for the presenting patient; from initial history taking, triaging, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation.
• Use critical thinking and practices within professional boundaries.
• Be proactive and a driver for change, assist in the training, development and clinical supervision of practice personnel and medical students
• Adhere to policies and procedures and provide guidance to the practice team as required.
Practice Information: 2 GP partners, 4,800+ patients, 2 part-time Salaried GPs and 1 Retainer GP, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Health Care Assistant, Excellent Administration and Reception Team, EMIS Web Sessions: 12-18 hours over 3 days on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
