Practice Nurse - Holland House Surgery

Holland House Surgery is a long-established practice serving a population of 11000 patients. We currently have a vacancy for a Practice Nurse due to a long-standing Practice Nurse retiring. Holland House Surgery is set across two sites:- Lytham Primary Health Centre and Freckleton Health Centre. It is a busy practice which is made up of 6 partners, supported by 2 salaried GP's, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 pharmacists and Clinical practitioner. There are currently 3 Practice Nurses, 1 Advanced Practitioner and 2 Health care assistants. We also have a host of non-clinical staff that form the foundation of our practice. 

Holland House strives to provide an exemplary primary health care service for all patients registered with the practice making use of all the services available. We are a supportive practice that encourages development and participation in improving services. The practice was rated ‘Good’ in all areas by CQC at our last inspection in March 2017. 

The ideal candidate would be a confident individual that can join our supportive and forward-thinking practice. The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. They will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of patients and to support the delivery of patient care using practice policy and procedures. 

This is a permanent full time position however hours are negotiable for the right candidate. There is potential for development to progress to a leadership and management role within the nursing team in the future. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two references.
