An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Practice Nurse to join our established Practice and Nursing Team to work up to 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, but with flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness when required. We are a friendly and committed team, working hard to meet the needs of our 6000+ patients.
Main Duties of the job
Long term health conditions and chronic disease management including Asthma, COPD, CVD, CKD, Hypertension, IHD Diabetes Management and support Childhood Vaccines General Vaccinations Cervical Cytology Contraceptive and sexual health advice Health Checks Health Promotion Safeguarding.

Our team consists of 2 GP Partners, a long-term locum GP, a Pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Nursing Associate and a Health Care Assistant and a supportive Management, Reception and Administrative team.
South King Street is part of Central West Primary Care Network who employ a Multidisciplinary Team consisting of Occupational Therapist, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Care Coordinators and Social Prescribers that provide an invaluable contribution to the care of our patient population.
