Salaried Doctor/Partnership - Queen Square Medical Practice

Not all practices are the same …. 

We are looking for a doctor to join our friendly, enthusiastic and innovative 8-partner / 14 doctor practice serving 15,300+ patients. The GPs are supported internally by a great team including; - Nurse & Paramedic ACPs, Pharmacists/Medicines Management team, Physio, and an extensive Practice Nurse/Health Care Assistant team; and externally by our Integrated Care Community. 

We pride ourselves on continuity and quality of care, innovation and research, and have strong management and admin support teams. Our aim is provide high quality care to our patients, whilst maintaining a good work life balance for all of our staff. We have responded to the unique challenges of the pandemic by updating our working day structure and environment. We now have a shared admin space for GPs which enables us to use our consulting rooms more efficiently. This also helps GPs to better support each other and reduces isolated working. 

We are located in Lancaster situated close to the beautiful countryside of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Morecambe Bay. Lancaster is vibrant university city, and benefits from excellent local state and grammar schools. At our practice, we have specialist clinics in Fertility & Gynaecology, Sexual Health, and Respiratory medicine. Doctors who are keen to join our innovative team in providing GMS services or wish to develop a specialist interest (in one of these, or another area), would be keenly supported by the Practice. We are an established training practice and have a weekly protected educational meeting to support continuing professional development. We are keen to talk to anyone who is considering joining us as a Salaried GP or who may be interested in becoming a Partner in future. We are ideally looking for 5+ sessions.
