Salaried GP (Maternity Cover) - Station House Surgery

We are located in the market town of Kendal, which is close to the Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales. It is a lovely place to work and live with good transport links and a great community. We are proud of our practice which is not too big to be impersonal but is large enough to be flexible and embrace new initiatives. We are not hierarchical and have a great Team spirit based on helping each other out. The Practice has a friendly, loyal and experienced workforce complimented by newer, developing team members. The Team includes GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Pharmacist, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants as well as an excellent and supportive non-clinical team. We have a successful PCN and work with two other local surgeries. The PCN employs additional clinical and support staff that provide services from Station House Surgery. We provide training for both GPs and Nurses and other professionals and are also a Research accredited practice. The clinical team meet daily on an informal basis and discuss cases, share knowledge and generally catch up. Feedback has said that we are a supportive and approachable group who aim to take care of our team. 

This role is to provide Maternity cover starting around the end of November 2022 for a period of up to 12 months. We would be happy to consider two posts if 7 sessions are not for you.
