SALARIED / SESSIONAL GP VACANCY- Moss Side Medical Centre

We are looking to appoint a forward thinking and motivated GP to join our friendly team at Moss Side Medical Centre. We are looking to offer 4-8 sessions per week. Initially the amount of sessions per week can be discussed; there is also the possibility of partnership. The successful candidate would manage and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. We are an EMIS practice. 

Main duties of the job 

•  The contract will be the BMA standard contract 
• Competitive salary dependent upon duties and responsibilities 
• Progression to partnership available if desired and the necessary skills and commitment shown 
• An established training practice with ST3 every year 
• An expectation to help in providing supervision for trainees 
• Managing partner is full time enabling advice and support throughout the week 
• Low visit rate 
• Clinical meetings which will meet your requirements for significant event analysis and make a significant contribution to your appraisal CPD requirements. Agenda driven by the clinicians. 
• Progression to trainer status will be supported, if desired. 

Overview of Moss Side Medical Centre: We are a long-established practice offering stability and a cohesive team who work hard to provide our patients with a high standard of clinical excellence. We currently became the top practice in Leyland following a national patient survey. Our current friendly team consists of 1 GP, 1 Salaried GP, 1 long term locum GP, Assistant Practitioner, locum ANPs and Practice Nurse, Practice Manager and reception/administration staff serving near 5000 patients. We are a high achieving QOF practice using EMIS Web and provide all enhanced services. CQC rated good in all areas. We work in a collaborative PCN with another 5 local GP Practices. The practice is committed to the progress and development of the PCN. We are easily accessible with motorway network links close by. Practice owned premises in pleasant surroundings with staff car parking. 

Flexibility is possible with the starting date. Informal visits welcome.
