Guidance RE: adopting the policies
We trust all practice managers have now had access to, and the opportunity to review, the suite of bespoke policies and procedures. The suite of policies and procedures on this website have the following advantages:
- Up to date
- Best Practice
- Meet all the necessary legal criteria
- Easy to understand
- Universally applicable with minimum adaptation*
*The only adaptation individual practices need to implement will be personalisation of policies for each individual practice e.g. site location, name(s).
For practices wishing to adopt the new bespoke suite of policies and procedures implementation would be relatively straightforward. It can be achieved through effective staff communication whereby all staff are made aware that new policies and procedures are being adopted from a certain date, the range of policies is clearly identified, and the means of access to the policies in question is clearly defined e.g. one printed set is available in a location that all staff find easily accessible.
You should ensure that there is available a clear audit trail of the manner in which this information has been communicated.
