Fixed Term Locum GP - Lytham Road Surgery

Fixed Term Locum GP from April – September 2021 

We are looking to appoint a forward thinking and motivated GP to join our friendly team at Lytham Road Surgery. We are looking to offer 6 sessions per week worked over Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We are an EMIS practice with a list size of 11,500 patients and are due to move to brand new purpose built premises in Spring this year. We are a long established practice with an excellent clinical and administration team who strive to provide the best quality of care for our patients. COVID-19 secure building with well established infection control and health and safety measures in place throughout the building 

Main duties of the job: 

• Currently undertaking telephone consultations with facility for GP to book face to face appointments only, as needed, this includes 12 telephone consultations plus 3 face-to-face slots, which would be converted to telephone if not needed for face-to-face 

• Manage own generated admin work 

• Up to 10 medication queries a day, if required 

• One home visit per day We are easily accessible with motorway network links close by and onsite parking. Flexibility is possible with the starting date. View to becoming salaried GP from September with possibility of Partnership longer term.
