Health Care Assistant 

Part time – Up to 29 hours a week with overtime available with some Saturday sessions when required. 

Salary – Dependent upon experience, knowledge & skills. 

Job Summary:- 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated Health Care Assistant to join the team and are seeking someone who has experience in working within primary care, ideally NVQ level 3 or equivalent trained, to work within our existing nursing team. 

The successful candidate will have a patient facing role with duties that will include:- 

• Health screening 

• ECG’s 

• Phlebotomy 

• Administer appropriate vaccines 

• Blood pressure monitoring 

• New patient checks and NHS health checks 

• Clinic assistance 

• Mental health and dementia reviews 

• Ordering and stock control 

• Anticoagulation monitoring 

• Act as a chaperone 

The applicant must be willing to undertake additional training to develop clinical skills and competencies relevant to the role as they arise.
