Practice Business Manager - North Preston Medical Practice

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, who we see as an accomplished and highly motivated manager with strategic vision. Candidates must be conscientious, provide slid leadership and have a sound knowledge of business management, project management, finance, planning and HR. 

The successful candidate will need to be able to work collaboratively with the partners and the Primary Care Network (PCN) team to develop existing and new services and lead the implementation of those services at practice level. We are looking for a confident and resilient individual with excellent communication skills. 

The individual should be adaptable, able to understand and respond to complex requirements and be able to communicate those requirements to the wider team – all in the environment of an ever-changing primary care landscape. Previous management experience, leadership skills, competency in I.T. and effective communication skills are essential. 

You will be supported by an experienced and highly valued Deputy Practice Manager and supervisory team and surrounded by a dedicated clinical team comprising 6 GP partners, 3 Urgent Care Practitioners and a skilled and experienced nursing team. In return, the successful candidate can expect a generous salary commensurate of the position and their experience, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, NHS pension scheme and staff bonus scheme.
