Job Summary 

We are a semi-rural practice serving 8,300 patients in the Adlington, Heath Charnock and Rivington area. We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to lead our established team. We are a longstanding training practice and have a strong focus on patient care. We are part of the local PCN with five other practices, working collaboratively to deliver a high quality of care. The practice is supported by paramedics, MSK physios, pharmacists, Mental health practitioner and care home team. Our practice consists of 3 partners, 2 salaried GPs, GP trainees, 2 nurses and we are supported by our excellent management, secretarial, medicines and reception team. An experienced operations manager will directly support your role.

 We are looking for a committed, highly- skilled and motivated practice manager to support and lead our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient administrative operations thereby demonstrating strong leadership and organisation skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Person Specification Essential Qualifications -  Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

Desired Qualifications -  Leadership and or management qualification 

Essential experience 

Experience of managing accounting processes 

Experience of managing 

Human Resources 

Experience of managing teams Desired experience 

Experience of working within Healthcare Management/ 

General practice Experience of managing health and safety at work 

Primary Care management experience 

Experience of developing and implementing projects 

Change management 

Experience of interaction with regulatory bodies
