About Over Wyre Medical Centre

The Over Wyre Medical Centre is a 5 partner GMS dispensing practice based in Preesall, Lancashire and serves a semi-rural community of several villages covering a 60 square mile area on the Fylde Coast. We care for 11,400 patients and are based in an extensive, purpose-built building. We use EMIS Web, Ardens, Docman 10 and AccuRx. We have a large, friendly team and the doctors are well supported by an excellent nursing, HCA, administration, and dispensary team. We are rated as Outstanding by the CQC. We work closely with the local PCN and benefit from a range of additional roles including pharmacist, pharmacist technician and social prescriber. We are also a training practice and host medical students from Manchester University, as well as GPST2 and GPST3 level doctors. 

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our team for between 4 to 6 clinical sessions a week, dealing with 15 appointments per session as well as home visits if necessary. There would be no on-call commitment.
