Due to list growth and team development, Wigton Group Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our supportive and progressive team. About Us
We are a well-established practice caring for around 9,300 patients, based in a modern, spacious building that also hosts additional services including hospital dental, podiatry and women’s health. Our team includes:
• 7 GPs, 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacist, Mental Health Practitioner, First Contact Physiotherapist, Healthy Living Link Worker, an experienced Practice Nursing team, and a highly effective non-clinical support team.
How We Work
• Recently implemented Modern General Practice model – blending online, telephone and face-to-face consultations.
• Effective duty doctor & Care Navigator-led triage system - patients booked with the right person first time.
• Prescribing support team. • Fully integrated digital systems: Emis Web, ICE, GP2GP, electronic workflow & registrations.
• Consistently high QOF achievement. • Out-of-hours covered by Cumbria Health. What We Offer
