Practice Nurse - Queen Square Medical Practice

Location: Queen Square Medical Practice, Lancaster (with Caton branch surgery) 

Hours: Up to full-time available, part-time and flexible working considered

The Role 

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our nursing team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. 

Responsibilities include: 

· Running chronic disease management clinics (e.g. Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Hypertension). 

· Delivering immunisations and vaccinations (childhood, adult, seasonal, and travel). 

· Carrying out cervical cytology screening. 

· Providing wound care, dressings, ECGs, spirometry, health checks, and similar procedures. 

· Supporting patients with health promotion, lifestyle advice and self-management of long-term conditions. 

· Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, HCAs and other members of the healthcare team.
