We are a 10,800 patient training practice based on one site in a semi-rural village called Longton, near Preston in Lancashire. We are close to motorway network links and have a range of good and outstanding local primary and secondary schools within our practice boundary. Our experienced and supportive health care professional clinical teams are assisted by our dedicated administrative and management team. The GP Partnership are looking to recruit an additional highly motivated GP colleague to join our existing team of 3 GP partners and 5 salaried GPs. We are a positive team, already working the modern General Practice model yet always striving to ensure a healthy work-life balance. We are a friendly, outgoing and supportive team and encourage open communication and focus priorities on staff wellbeing just as much as our excellent patient care. As a practice we are extremely receptive to new and innovative ways of working to enhance quality of patient care and local community services - continuity of care and high standards in quality remain at the heart of all our practice planning and decision making, working closely with our network practices and neighbourhood team practices.
JOB DETAILS
- Large multi-disciplinary clinical team which includes ANP, Pharmacy team, Nurse Associates and GPAs along with a complement of ARRS roles such as Pharmacists, Nurse Associates, Clinical Care Co-Ordinator, Health & Wellbeing Team, Mental Health Practitioner and First Contact Physio services

- Excellent clinical support with well-established in-house training program
- Daily ‘huddle’ & comms briefing for all teams

Job Specification:
We are looking for a flexible, hardworking GP to join our well-established clinical team. You will be enthusiastic and positive about General Practice and Primary Care and our fabulous NHS in general
- a dedicated team player is a must
- recently qualified or with experience
- available for a minimum of 6 sessions to 8 sessions
- providing the highest standards of medical care, in accordance with standards set by the GMC and CQC
- able to develop Special Interests and we encourage innovation and ongoing professional development.
