Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – 12 Hours per Week

Dr Dawoud’s Surgery is seeking an experienced and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our friendly and supportive practice team.

Hours: 12 hours per week, worked over 3 days

About the Role

We are looking for a competent and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy GP practice.

Essential Skills and Experience

Applicants must be experienced and competent in:

• Phlebotomy (venepuncture)
• NHS Health Checks
• Blood pressure monitoring
• Height, weight and BMI measurements
• New patient health assessments
• Recording clinical observations accurately
• Infection prevention and control procedures
• Working within a primary care environment
