Practice Manager - GAB Healthcare

GAB Healthcare brings together 3 GP training practices across Chorley and South Ribble providing first class patient centred care for over 12,300 patients. We are looking for an exceptional, ambitious & driven Practice Manager to join our Senior Management Team to oversee our ambitious plans to deliver modern general practice. Candidates must be conscientious, have strong leadership skills and a sound knowledge of business management, finance, planning and HR. They must also have evidence of working within the NHS; in particular primary care and have a sound knowledge of NHS operations and performance indicators including QoF, Enhanced Services, NHS & ICB contracts and CQC. Above all you must be able to remain calm under pressure, strategic thinker and a hands-on leader, ready to go the extra mile to keep the practices at the forefront of development. If you are a dynamic team player who has a desire to positively influence the lives of our local communities and take the practices to the next level this is the ideal opportunity for you. 

The successful candidate would ideally have; 

• Experience of successfully leading, planning and managing services and administration 

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and team skills at a senior level 

• Excellent IT skills including proficiency in financial management information systems and adaptability to new software 

• Proven experience of contract delivery, preferably in the public sector 

• Successful experience of income generation
