Exciting Opportunity for a GP – Fostering & Adoption Medical Assessor (Remote, Flexible, Self-Employed) We are seeking a GMC-registered GP to carry out remote medical assessments for prospective foster carers and adopters. As a Fostering & Adoption Medical Assessor, you will: Review the completed applicant section of the medical form Assess the full GP medical records provided Consider routine observations completed by a nurse Conduct a brief telephone or video consultation with the applicant Complete and return the medical assessment form with professional opinion and recommendations The position is ad-hoc and fully remote, offering excellent flexibility. A competitive fee is paid per completed form, with payment made within 30 days of invoice.
