Job Title: Salaried GP (Maternity Cover) 

Location: Pendleside Medical Practice, Clitheroe, Ribble Valley 

Contract Type: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover) 

Duration: 12 months Sessions: 6 sessions per week 

Start Date: Late June 2026 

Salary: £12,550.82 per session per annum 

About the Practice 

Pendleside Medical Practice is a friendly, well-established training practice located in the beautiful semi-rural Ribble Valley. We provide care for approximately 12,000 patients and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Our supportive multidisciplinary team includes experienced GPs, ANPs, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, with a strong emphasis on teaching and professional development. 

The Role 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. 

The role includes: 

• Routine GP consultations (face-to-face and remote) 
• Management of acute and chronic conditions 
• Participation in the practice duty rota 
• Help cover for the rehabilitation unit at Clitheroe Hospital (Monday to Friday) as part of the role Participation in practice meetings 
• Contribution to a supportive team environment
